Scottish actor Sylvester McCoy recently visited the J.M. Davis Museum and the Will Rogers Memorial in Claremore. At the gun museum, McCoy — arguably best-known for his portrayal as the seventh Doctor in “Doctor Who” — found the disenagrator pistol from Buck Rogers of particular interest and he was welcomed to Claremore via the Will Rogers Theatre marquee.
