The Master Gardener Association of Rogers County will host orientation meetings for individuals interested in becoming an OSU Master Gardener at 1 p.m. Friday August 17th, 2012 at the Rogers County Building.
There is not a great deal of expertise in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture needed. You will learn the basics of all parts of homeowner horticulture.
The Rogers County Building is located at 416 S Brady St. (just across from the new Dollar General Store—on the west side of the Claremore Expo grounds). This building is where will be conducting most all of our indoor lectures/classes.
After a short presentation about the Master Gardener program, classes, and volunteering back to OSU Extension the following year, our Master Gardener members will be accepting applications and setting up interviews for those who are interested.
Snacks, and cold drinks will be provided.
We look forward to seeing, meeting and discussing the Master Gardener Program with each and every one!
