CLAREMORE —

Crews are currently working on repairing a natural gas leak at the intersection of J.M. Davis Boulevard and Blue Starr Drive.

Parts of the intersection and railroad crossing were closed from 11:45 a.m. until about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, while Oklahoma Natural Gas employees worked to shut off the leak.

Claremore police and fire department officials were on hand to redirect motorists while blocking access across the tracks.

The cause of the gas leak is unknown at this time, however, the area is safe, according to information provided by ONG.
