Commissioners approve “liquor-by-the-drink” effective date

CLAREMORE — Rogers County Commissioners this morning approved 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, July 1st as the effective date for the recently approved “Sunday liquor-by-the-drink” proposition.

The July 1 approval date — which passed in a 2-1 vote of the commissioners, with commissioner Mike Helm being the lone “no” vote — will enable Rogers County residents the retail purchase and consumption of alcohol on-premises on Sundays beginning Sunday, July 6.
