Buffalo Wild Wings, one of the top 10 fastest growing restaurant chains in the country, announced Wednesday it plans to open later this summer.
The restaurant will move into a 5,500 sq. ft. space at The Market shopping center on Hwy. 66. After an extensive remodel and expansion, it will occupy the space currently occupied by Keller Williams Realty. The restaurant will seat approximately 200 guests.
Franchise owner Ed Lynn, who lives in Oklahoma City, said this will be his fourth Buffalo Wild Wings. Lynn is the franchise owner of Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in Muskogee, Enid and Oklahoma City.
It joins more than 900 locations in 49 states and two countries, Lynn said.
He became familiar with Claremore while his daughter attended Rogers State University.
Lynn, of Oklahoma City, is also the father of Bailey Lynn, who played goalkeeper for RSU’s women’s soccer team from 2007-10. “I’ve come to know Claremore over the years and believe Buffalo Wild Wings will do well here. RSU is an obvious draw to us.”
“We’re excited to bring our award-winning wings and atmosphere to the residents of Claremore,” he said. “We want to become the gathering place in Claremore.”
“This will be good for Claremore and good for us,” he said.
“A feast for all the senses, the Claremore Buffalo Wild Wings will feature over 40 Hi-Definition TV’s including eight big screens for full-on sports viewing,” the company’s release stated.
With the ability to move the tables and chairs to fit parties, guests can customize their experience. The relaxed atmosphere makes Buffalo Wild Wings a natural neighborhood hangout which caters to guests of all ages. In addition to its regular menu, Buffalo Wild Wings also offers an extensive children’s menu.
