Jefferson County Junior Livestock Show will begin today and run through Saturday. Come out and show your support for our young 4-H Club and FFA chapter citizens of our county.
The show brings together young and old from all around the county and is a great experience.
The Jefferson County OHCE meets from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Waurika Senior Citizens’ Center unless otherwise notified. The next meeting will be Tuesday, March 18.
Brenda Gandy, Stephens County extension educator for FCS will be our speaker. She will present a lesson on “Frugal Living, the New Trend for Clever People.” Frugal living means smarter spending. It’s taking the money that you have and s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g it as far as it will go.
Evening sewing projects monthly sessions will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 21, at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
Contact me at 580-228-2332 for information on any of these activities.
