CLAREMORE — Order pizza April 8 and Papa John’s will donate 20 percent of all sales to Rogers County Youth Services (RCYS). Raised funds will be used to purchase a new van for the non-profit organization’s emergency youth shelter.

The van will transport children living in the shelter to school and other activities such as trips to the Tulsa Zoo and Jenks Aquarium.
“These types of fundraisers have been really successful in the past,” said Josh Duckworth, Papa John’s Area Supervisor.
“We like to always try to help out local schools and those in need.
Duckworth said other than working to provide the best quality and service in the pizza business, Papa John’s tries to help out the community as well.
“We’re trying to get the word out through social media, flyers and talking with customers so we can help RCYS as much as possible. We expect to be very busy,” he said.
The fundraiser idea was brought to Duckworth from Leadership Rogers County members, who wanted to provide a leadership opportunity to assist local organizations.
“We are devoted to helping all children reach their potential,” said RCYS Boardmember Angie Graves.
Graves has been with the organization for more than ten years and said the agency’s goal is to promote strong, healthy and successful individuals and families. Donations will be made throughout the day from open-close. When ordering, customers must mention Rogers County Youth Services to get credit.
