CLAREMORE — With Christmas just 50 days away, it’s not too early to begin making your list and checking it twice.

The Rogers County United Way has the perfect “shopportunity” for you, the Fourth Annual Holiday Boutique, Nov. 8-10 at Rogers State University’s Centennial Center.
“If getting all of your Christmas shopping done in one location, all in one weekend, and all for a good cause appeals to you, this is the place to be,” said Angela Henderson, Holiday Boutique co-chair.
The Holiday Boutique benefits the 26 member agencies of the Rogers County United Way, which serves neighbors in need throughout Rogers County.
Best of all, items purchased at the Holiday Boutique are wrapped, free of charge, so shoppers can simply go home and place their treasures beneath the Christmas tree.
“Men typically don’t think of this event as being for them, but this is a perfect place for guys to find that special gift any lady would love to have,” Henderson said. She said that wish lists will be available to ladies who shop the event and the lists will be kept at the registration desk.
“Since the tickets are good for both days, she can simply hand her ticket off to him and he can arrive later to shop for her,” she said.
Nearly 30 vendors will be set up, selling everything from jewelry to painted furniture and home décor, children’s toys and books to clothing. Vendors include: J&J Pharmacy, Image Rehab Boutique, Designer’s Choice, CS Jewelry Design, KynLeigh Designs, Tiffany’s Gifts, Fishwater Tees, Chrome Cowgirl, Tiny Cakes and Truffles, Premier Designs, Savannah’s Boutique, The Orange Owl, Usborne Books, Make It Special, Velata, Grace Adele, Rose Patch Boutique, CBC Embroidery, The Nut House, The French Nest, Nerium, Summerside Winery, The Pottery Cottage, Keepsake Candles, Harley and Maude’s, Crafted, Vault Denim, Silpada, Longaberger Baskets, and Unwind.
The Holiday Boutique kicks off from 6-8 p.m. Thursday with a VIP Shopping Event. Tickets are $25 and are limited to the first 100 shoppers.
Appetizers, punch, and coffee will be served and wine will be available at a cash bar.
“The VIP Shopping Event offers ladies an opportunity to pre-shop the Holiday Boutique and to have a night out with girlfriends,” Henderson said. Tickets are limited and not sold at the door, so shoppers are encouraged to call ahead for a VIP Shopping ticket.
General admission shopping will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
General admission tickets are $12 and get you in the doors both Friday and Saturday. Tickets for this event will be available at the door or are available in advance from any United Way agency.
