Safenet Services, Inc. has formed a partnership with the Inola Roundup Club to help “Round-Up” funds during the Hay Capital Open Rodeo, June 21-22.
This fund-raising round-up is a part of the on-going sustainability financial campaign for Safenet Services, Inc. Safenet is the domestic abuse and sexual assault agency which services Rogers and Mayes Counties.
Being a part of the Hay Capital Rodeo means that Safenet is also teaming up with the Loose Rowel Rodeo Company and  the Saddle Series Guts and Glory Ram promotion sponsored by Chris Nikel Dodge.
“We encourage rodeo participants and attendees to wear purple shirts on Friday and Saturday nights in support of the mission of Safenet Services and in awareness of Domestic Abuse,” said Nancy Phelps, Development Director of Safenet Services.
Rodeo participants will be given purple Safenet bandanas to wear during competition and throughout the rodeo.
Purple Round-Up bucks will be passed through the crowd on Saturday night.
All monies collected help the agency expand needed services for families healing from the consequences of domestic abuse. A collection will be taken on June 21 in support of Blue Star Mothers.
“Safenet Services truly appreciates these Hay Capital Rodeo partners and their support of our non-profit organization. We are so proud of our new Round-Up Partners and the vital role they are playing in this financial campaign,” said Ms. Phelps.
Rose Ann McCaw is the chairman of the Safenet Round-Up Committee. Kay Ingersoll, also from Inola, also serves on this committee.
