Annual Will Rogers Memorial Race April 12

CLAREMORE —

The 6th Annual Will Rogers Memorial Race, a partnership of Cherokee Nation Wings Program and Will Rogers Memorial Museum will be April 12. 
The 5K USATF Certified and Sanctioned Race will be through the Rogers State University Reserve with a starting time of 8:30 a.m. A 1K Fun Run will begin at 8 a.m. Races begin and end at the RSU entrance directly across Will Rogers Boulevard from the Museum.
Registration forms are available now on the Cherokee Nation Wings Program website http://cherokeepublichealth.org/index.php/wings/49-wings/505-6th-annual-will-rogers-memorial-race or can be picked up at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum store, business office or admissions desk and returned to Cherokee Nation Wings Program.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. on race day inside the Memorial Museum. Registration packet pickup closes at 8:15 a.m.
Advance registration is $20 for 5K ($25 day of race) and $15 for 1K (same on race day). Wings members do not pay a fee.
Proceeds from registrations will benefit Will Rogers Heritage Inc.
Medals will be awarded top three male and female standard age group. The first 300 to show up on race day will receive a T-shirt.

    All items remaining in the two houses on 5th Street —105 and 109 E. 5th Street — will be auctioned off, among them, light fixtures, doors, cabinets, shelving, flooring, and more.
