Peggy Rice to be guest at Pilot Club’s Style Show & Luncheon

CLAREMORE — Rogers State University’s “First Lady” Peggy Rice will serve as guest commentator next month at the Pilot Club of Claremore’s 35th annual Style Show & Luncheon.

Rice, who is the wife of RSU President Dr. Larry Rice, serves as president and CEO of the Small Business Capital Corporation, and was recently selected as an honoree for the Journal Record’s 2013 Fifty Making a Difference award, which honors the influence of women in the workforce and community.

Additionally, Rice a member of the RCB Board of Directors, and she is active in numerous civic and non-profit organizations. She is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma Class XII, and often volunteers her time at Rogers State University.

The Pilot Club of Claremore’s 35th annual Style Show & Luncheon is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 17 at Northeast Technology Center in Claremore.

Lunch will be provided by Chef Linda Coons, owner of Country Inn B&B

Entertainment will be provided by Jeannie Lan, Rhonda Burns and Karen Walden.
