Texas Red Dirt star Morrow coming to Will Rogers Downs Casino

Known for his unique Red Dirt style and leading role in the modern Texas music scene, musician Cory Morrow will be entertaining crowds in Rogers County, when he brings his rustic, country rock to Claremore at a free concert Friday night.
Morrow will take the stage at 10:30 p.m. at the Dog Iron Saloon inside Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs, after which, Casino officials will give away a signed guitar.
“Cory’s sound is extremely original — it’s very much his own,” said Tim Landes, Cherokee Nation Entertainment. “He combines blues, country, rock, bluegrass and swing influences to create a sound unique to the Texas Red Dirt scene. 
“His unmistakable sound has gained and maintained popularity throughout the Southwest,” he said.
Morrow’s singles “Love Finds Everyone,” “Texas on My Mind” and “Ramblin’ Man” are among his fan favorites. 
His recent hits, such as “Lead Me On,” continue to gain popularity with fans as he tours and shares his music.
The Austin native broke onto the Texas music scene in 1995, and has since sold more than 200,000 albums.
Morrow started playing guitar while attending high school in Houston. He credits artists ranging from Merle Haggard to Black Sabbath as influential to his music and his career. For more information on Cory Morrow, visit
