Roosa students ‘Rock and Learn’ with Stephen Fites at Claremore PAC

CLAREMORE — Stephen Fites, an award-winning writer of children’s music, and his band of buccaneers hit dry land at the Claremore PAC Wednesday for the 2012-2013 Arrrr You Ready to Rock and Learn Concert Tour.  Roosa students and staff were able to attend for the second year in a row.

“The students had such a fun time at last year’s show, teachers wanted to take them again this year,” said Library Media Specialist Vanessa Kirton.
From Rock to Reggae, Pop to Blues and even Dixieland, Fite’s music has been shared with children across the U.S.  Since the mid-80s, he has played over 1,000 concerts for more than 650,000 spectators.
Fites newest release, Songs for a Funtastic School Day, is a collection of upbeat movement and curriculum-based songs written for Pre-K through 2nd grade classrooms.
