Green Country Classic Ranch Rodeo coming Friday, Saturday

CLAREMORE —

The Green Country Classic Ranch Rodeo will be Friday and Saturday at the Claremore Expo.
Rodeo action begins at 7 p.m. Friday and at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
This is the 9th year for the WRCA sanctioned rodeo to be in Claremore.
Fifteen teams will compete for cash and prizes in five classic ranch rodeo events; calf branding, doctoring, sorting, wild cow milking and ranch bronc riding. 
Tickets for the rodeo are $10 for ages 3 and up, and can be purchased at the Expo Center.
Along with the rodeo, there will be a tradeshow in the Expo Hall, with free admission to the public. 
Visitors can find everything from saddles and custom made boots to clothing and home décor. Tradeshow hours from 3 to 10 p.m. on   Friday and 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday.
There will be a youth ranch rodeo (JRRA) at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the indoor arena. Tickets for the JRRA  rodeo are $5. and can be purchased at the door.
The GCCRR  Board of Directors has teamed up with the Oklahoma Blue Star Mothers this year. Chances for a pair of handmade spurs will be sold with all the proceeds benefiting Blue Star Mothers.
