Jamye Nicole Henry of Claremore and Jason Everett Walker of Midwest City will exchange wedding vows at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006 at First Baptist Church, Nicoma Park, Okla. Stuart Pendell will officiate.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dr. John and Karla Henry of Claremore. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Billie Sue Henry and the late John J. Henry of Edmond, Dr. and Mrs. Louis Weipert of Glen Haven, Colo., and the late Raymond D. Davidson of Tulsa.

Jamye is a 2003 Valedictorian graduate of Claremore High School. She is currently a senior Baccalaureate Scholar at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, where she is a pre-dental hygiene major and music minor. Jamye is a member of Gamma Beta Phi and is on the President’s and Dean’s Honor Rolls.

She is working in Claremore as a dental assistant this summer, with plans to do the same in Edmond in the fall, in addition to attending classes.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. William and Linda Walker of Oklahoma City. He is the grandson of Mr. Bobby and Mary Walker of McLoud, and Mr. Don and Mary Ann Jones of Corona, Calif.

Jason graduated with honors from Choctaw High School in 1999. He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond in May 2004 with a B.B.A. in Human Resource Management. Jason is currently employed at Bone and Joint Hospital in Oklahoma City as a HR Specialist. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and is on the Associate Board for the Arthritis Foundation at Bone and Joint Hospital.
