The Tri-State Gun fighters, a western reenactment team will hold a meet and greet beginning at noon at the J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum in Claremore this Saturday, August 4.
The group wears authentic western clothing and uses replica 1870s weapons.
"We use the same replicas that are used in the movies", said Rick Neighbors with Tri-State.
Members of the group will visit and take photos with museum visitors.
"If anyone has an interest in joining our group, we will talk with them about how they can join. It is a lot of fun performing as an old west cowboy", said Neighbors. “Our group travels to surrounding states and performs for fairs, rodeos and parades. “
The J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum is the world's largest privately held arms collection in the world. It is located on Highway 66 at 5th street in downtown Claremore.
