Sarah Pauline Jones and Colter Steven Willhoite were united as husband and wife May 26, 2006 at the home of the groom’s parents in Claremore.

Martin Potter of Sequoyah Baptist Church officiated the evening ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Cindy and Bill Jones of Sand Springs. She is the granddaughter of Marilyn Jones of Chouteau, and Lillie Fechner of Tulsa.

Sarah is a 2006 Sand Springs graduate.

The groom is the son of Guy and Annette Willhoite of Claremore. He is the grandson of Marton and Marjorie Williams of Claremore, and Dick and Darlene Willhoite of Claremore.

Colter is a 2005 graduate of Sequoyah High School and is now attending Full Sail Film School in Orlando, Fla.

The garden wedding featured fresh flowers in shades of lavender, pink and white, and an arbor decorated with grapevines, ivy and lavender ribbon.

The bride wore a ballgown style dress with satin bodice accented with pearl and sequin embroidery. The princess tulle skirt had a six foot train. She carried a hand-tied garden bouquet of Australian grasses, lavender roses, and white and lime green flowers.

All members of the wedding party were barefoot.

April Owens, sister of the bride, was Matron of Honor. Elizabeth Jones, sister of the bride, was flower girl.

Mark Stesney, best friend of the groom, served as Best Man. Malachi Owens, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Guestbook attendant was Megan Williams.

An outdoor reception and barbecue dinner followed.

After a honeymoon trip to Florida, the couple resides in Orlando.
