Dana L. Shell and Phillip G. Hull of Claremore were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Dec. 22, 2006. Family and friends were in attendance as the couple exchanged wedding vows in the home of Phillis Wells. The ceremony was officiated by Henry Sumter Jr. of Chelsea.

The bride is the daughter of Karen and Jerry Groves of New Jersey, and Marvin and Debbie Wells of Nebraska. She is the granddaughter of Leola Wells.

Dana is currently employed by Cherokee Casino.

The groom is the son of Phillis Wells of Foyil, and Phillip and Linda Hull of Foyil. He is the grandson of Melvin and Mary Hull of Missouri.

Phillip is self-employed.

The bride’s sons, Bobby Shell and Dustin Shell, gave their mother away. Dana wore an ivory gown with lace overlay. Ceremony colors were white and baby blue.

Maid of Honor was Dawn L. Shell, daughter of the bride. Bridesmaid was Eilene Fritz, longtime friend of the bride.

Best Man was Christopher A. Brown Jr., nephew of the groom.

A reception followed, hosted by Phillis Wells and Kristin Brown.

The couple will reside in Foyil, where they have purchased a home.
