Deputies find stolen trailer, drugs

FOYIL —

Three people were arrested by Rogers County deputies last week.
Ronald Ward, and his wife Carol, both of Foyil, and Sean Jones, of Inola, were arrested and transported May 23 to the Rogers County Jail, according to the Sheriff’s report.
Charges against the suspects included conspiracy, obstructing an officer, offering false evidence, possession of controlled substance, unlawful possession of paraphernalia, possession stolen property and carrying firearms after conviction.
Deputies recovered a stolen box trailer and found several narcotics and methamphetamines in the process.
A tip was received to where the trailer was located at a residence in Foyil.
The box trailer was reported stolen from Rogers County on May 19.
The homeowner presented deputies with a bill of sale,  stating a friend had purchased the trailer in Tulsa after being informed the trailer was stolen.
There were very few items in the trailer and several items laying in the yard that were included in the theft report. Deputies found a few additional items at the scene,  including several hand tools, power tools and a firearm.
Once a search warrant was obtained, deputies found several more items that belonged to the original victim.
