Boyfriend arrested after threatening parents

CLAREMORE —

Rogers County deputies responded Sunday night to a disturbance call in Foyil, resulting in the arrest of Jason Hughes, 20, of Tulsa.
Hughes was at the residence of his girlfriend’s parents. He threatened to stab the family after being asked to leave the home.
Deputies arrived at the residence and found the suspect in the girl’s bedroom.
The suspect did not comply with the officer’s request to leave the home and then began fighting with deputies.
After a brief struggle, the officers were able to take the suspect into custody. 
He was transported to the Rogers County Jail and booked on charges of trespassing after being forbidden, threaten to perform act of violence, obstructing officer and resisting executive officer.
Officers found a knife in Hughes possession as well as 7H, Hydro or Potpourri.
The suspect admitted he had smoked K2 or Potpourri that day, according to the officer’s report.
