Two charged in string of area break ins

CLAREMORE — An anonymous tip from a “person of interest” post on the Rogers County Sheriff’s Facebook page led deputies to two individuals who were also wanted in Tulsa County and by the Owasso Police Department. Individuals were identified as Jack Mauldin, 23, and Mika Volbrecht, 20, of Claremore.

Both were charged with larceny, possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of credit card.
“The method of operation was to drive around and look for vehicles that were unlocked and grab anything of value,” said RCSO Captain Jerry Smittle.
Smittle said both the sheriff’s office and himself are thankful for the people of Rogers County and their assistance in getting criminals off of the streets.
