CLAREMORE — Two seperate robberies occurred at two different Dollar General store locations last week and over the weekend.
Sunday’s robbery occurred at the East 500 Road Dollar General next to Wal-Mart, not the new 4th and Brady location.
The man held a handgun up to the clerks demanding money, said Claremore Police Investigator Wayne Stinnett.
Customers were in the store at the time, however no injuries occurred, he said.
The suspect is a white male in his early 50s between 5 foot 6 and 5 foot 10 weighing anywhere from 210 to 220 pounds.
The first of two Dollar General store robberies occurred at 4th and Brady around 10 p.m. Thursday night in Claremore.
According to Claremore Police, two black male suspects forced one of the employees to open a safe, demanding money.
No weapons were involved in the robbery and no vehicle descriptions have been made at this time.
Investigators John Singer and Heath Heskett are on the case developing leads outside of Claremore.
Claremore Police Investigator Chuck Goad said video footage will be released as soon as possible if any additional help from the public is needed.
