Feds to talk about Indian Country corruption


The U.S. Attorney in Muskogee is expected to announce details of corruption in Indian Country during a news conference.

U.S. Attorney Mark F. Green is slated to hold the conference late Monday afternoon at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Muskogee.

Green’s office did not provide any additional information on what the alleged corruption involved or which tribe was being named.

The only information the office provided in a news release was that the press conference will provide details on alleged violations of federal law related to corruption in Indian Country.
