Former Daily Progress publisher Dave Story is hopefully at home recuperating following surgery last week.
A “friend” of Story, and another former, and well-known Claremore citizen, Joe Carter, reported that he visited him during his hospital stay and found him to be in great spirits.
Carter assured Story’s wife, Claudia, that he thinks beard-removal was certainly not necessary to his future health and it’s probably best not to go there considering a shave would have cost taxpayers $2,000 under Medicare.
