RSU Hillcamp, freshmen orientation, ended Friday with “Protocol Mission,” a series of challenges that freshmen competed in as teams. This year 145 freshmen participated in an egg drop, a yarn toss, a lava walk, a yarn obstacle course and a team activity that required getting the whole team through a hula hoop while keeping a beach ball in the air. RSU Public Relations Director David Hamby said the purpose of the mission was “teambuilding and problem solving.” The series of event also fit well into this year’s Hillcamp theme “Mission Impossible.”
