CLAREMORE — The City of Claremore announced that a dilapidation hearing will be at 9 a.m. on Feb. 14 at City Hall, regarding a burned structure on Holly Road.

The hearing was delayed due to a foreclosure issue, according to City Clerk Sarah Sharp.
Sharp has received several calls from concerned citizens about the structure.
The property is currently unsecured and people are concerned about safety issues, according to Sharp.
The city has already looked at tearing down the structure, the property owners and the bank has been notified, she added.
The city has taken all the necessary steps to prepare for the hearing including bringing the property’s abstract up to date.
The hearing will be open to the public.
