Commissioners approve Mullin’s courthouse use for 2014

“We feel Mr. Messimore, who lives in the Keetonville area, would be an appropriate replacement on the commission,” he said. 
Messimore was approved in a unanimous vote to serve a four-year term, beginning Jan. 1. 2014 through Dec. 31, 2018.
• Tabled the appointment of Missy Richardson as receiving agent for the Planning Commission.
Commissioners considered approving Richardson’s appointment, opted to wait until one of the current purchasing agents is released. Only two (purchasing agents) are allowed at a time for the Planning Commission.
Commissioner DeLozier requested Planning Commission Director Larry Curtis “get Missy to a purchasing class” as soon as possible to help her acclimate and be fully trained for her (upcoming) appointment.
