Commissioner DeLozier injured

CLAREMORE —

Rogers County Commissioner Dan DeLozier is recovering after surgery Thursday at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.

DeLozier was injured late Wednesday afternoon while checking his cattle.

He was alone at the time of the incident.

It is unclear how long he may be on medical leave from work.

Several well-wishers and county employees voiced their concern for DeLozier, hoping for his speedy recovery.

The Rogers County Commissioners meet every Monday morning at 9 a.m.

In DeLozier’s absence Commissioners Mike Helm and Kirt Thacker will be able to continue the weekly meetings.

Only two commissioners are required to make a quorum and therefore conduct business.
