Dist. 3 accepting storm debris at Catoosa Yard this weekend

CLAREMORE —

Residents in Rogers County’s District 3 can dispose of storm debris this weekend at the Catoosa Yard, according to commissioner Kirt Thacker.
The yard will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
District 3 residents are invited to bring storm debris and other solid waste items to the Catoosa Yard at 17308 E. Pine Street, Catoosa.  
Residents should provide their driver’s license showing an address  in Rogers County District 3. 
The service is for residents only, not commercial operations.  
The yard will accepts the following solid waste: furniture, mattresses, carpeting, yard and tree brush, home remodeling debris, car and light truck tires with rims removed, large household items regular trash service won’t pick up  and appliances with refrigerants or CFCs removed.
Items not accepted are: household garbage, dead animals, paint or paint products, batteries, caustic or hazardous materials of any kind, material containing asbestos, cylinders or other containers of compressed gas and containers with oil, gasoline, diesel fuel or hydrocarbons.
