Ask the Mayor

CLAREMORE —

Since the City of Claremore has brought back in-house the equipment to overlay asphalt what projects are planned?

After just completing the resurfacing the Bayless Addition on the west side of town the next scheduled project is Chambers Avenue, from Dupont to Archer.  This will include not only resurfacing but widening the small bridge on the south end of Chambers near Archer.
The Street Department is evaluating City streets to determine priorities for the upcoming year.  Also note that within the City limits Highway 66 (Lynn Riggs), Highway 20 (Patti Page & West Will Rogers), and Highway 88 (First Street) are State highways and are maintained by ODOT.
See you around town!
