Claremore hospital to host program about thyroid health

CLAREMORE — Looking for answers for unexplained fatigue, hair loss, dry skin, brittle nails, memory problems, lack of concentration, constipation, depression, mood swings or unexplained weight gain?

Claremore Regional Hospital's Healthy Woman program presents “The Thyroid: The Tiny Titan.”

Dr. Jeff Williams of Family & Senior Health Center will address causes and symptoms of thyroid problems and how to recognize your risks.

According to Dr. Williams, “Many times a woman explains her symptoms away due to their hectic life and schedule.”  “It is important for women to have their thyroid tested after the age of 35 if they are experiencing any thyroid related symptoms.”

The Meet & Greet begins at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 30 with refreshments and the program featuring Dr. Williams from 6-7 p.m. at Claremore Regional Hospital's Diagnostic Outpatient Surgery Center lobby.
