Rogers County Cherokee Association meeting, 2 p.m., RCCA Building east of the Justus-Tiawah School South Campus. The program, following the business session, will be the history of the Cherokee Constitution, presented by Lee Keener. All Cherokees are encouraged to participate in the programs.

MONDAY April 16

Nita Brashear, quilter, blogger, author will be guest speaker for Friends of the Library Brown Bag Series at Will Rogers Library. Programs are noon to 1 p.m. Open to the public; participants may bring a lunch if they wish. Drinks and desserts provided. Brashear is the author of Devoted to Quilting.

Rogers County Master Gardeners host free seminar by Sandie Bailey on “Low Pollen Plants for an Allergy-friendly Garden,” 7 p.m., Rogers County Building, 416 S. Brady. Information: John Haase, (918) 341-2736.

Marine Corps League meeting, 7 p.m., Meals on Wheels building, 715 McClellan St. (behind St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Sioux). Open to all current and former Marines and FMF Corpsmen.

FRIDAY April 20

“The Butler Did It” original comedy murder mystery, 7 p.m., Will Rogers Auditorium, Rogers State University. Tickets: $15 for adults, $5 for students, with all proceeds to benefit the American Red Cross. Doors open at 6 p.m. Information: (918) 344-8442.

Christ United Methodist Church Indian Taco Fundraiser, 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m., 317 S. Davis Ave. (three blocks south of Claremore Indian Hospital). Cost is $8 for Indian taco and drink. Desserts will be available for an additional charge. For delivery call (918) 408-2047. Proceeds benefit parking lot pavement and the general fund.
