Rotary Club of Rogers County hosts Race for our Youth ApproxiMock 5K, 2 p.m., Claremore Lake. Registration, 1-1:45. Entry fee is $5 and a donation to Rogers County Youth Services. Appreciated donations include personal items, snack foods, video games, books, and gift certificates.
 
MONDAY April 22
Will Rogers Library Genealogy Volunteers are available each Monday from 3-7 p.m. to answer questions and assist with research.
 
WEDNESDAY April 24
Wood Manor Nursing Center is accepting donations for their yard sale to be held May 8-9. Information: (918) 341-4365, ask for the activities department.

The Foyil Cherokee Nation Elderly Nutrition site has moved to the Foyil Community Center, 3rd and Andy Payne Boulevard. They are open each Thursday for lunch (doors open 10 a.m.; lunch served at 11). Menu or information: Frankie Long, (918) 261-8101.

11th Annual Leadership Rogers County Golf Classic at Heritage Hill Golf Course. Lunch at 11 a.m.; tee times begin at noon. Each player receives 18 holes of golf, golf cart, Golf Classic T-shirt, bag of golf goodies, beverages and lunch. Cost for a four-person team is $250 ($62.50/ person). Rogers County Special Olympics of Oklahoma Track Meet, 9 a.m., Andy Payne Track, Claremore High School. Events to include softball throws, basketball spot shot, wheelchair races, and more. Harmony Star Reunion, 10 a.m-2 p.m., Claremore Senior Citizens Center, 116 N. Muskogee. Attendees should bring a covered dish. Lunch served at noon.

Rogers County Historical Society meeting, 7 p.m., Belvidere Mansion, 4th and Chickasaw. Steve Gragert, Will Rogers Memorial Museum director, will speak on “The Opening of the Will Rogers Memorial Museum.” Refreshments to be served. Public invited.

TUESDAY April 30
Claremore Community Chorus presents“Spring’s Musical Bouquet,” 7:30 p.m., First United Methodist Church. Music ranging English madrigals to contemporary. Free to the public.
Sequoyah Elementary Pre-K and new Kindergarten enrollment, 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m., elementary building. Bring: your child, current immunization record, Social Security card, birth certificate, electric bill, and CDIB card, if applicable. If you are not a resident of the Sequoyah School District, you will fill out a transfer request during the enrollment process.
 
THURSDAY May 2
Claremont Elementary School Carnival, 6-8:30 p.m. Food, games, prizes, Jupiter Jumps, crafts, auction, sales, fun, and more. Money raised goes to benefit the Claremont Elementary PTO. Volunteers needed.Information:  (918) 378-4666.
National Day of Prayer Claremore gathering, 12 p.m., Ne-Mar Shopping Center. All are welcomed to come and pray for the city, nation, and for revival. Hosted by the Claremore Ministerial Alliance.
