WEDNESDAY June 12

Persons wishing to make a donation to support the Red Cross response can visit redcross.org, dial 1-800-REDCROSS or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation (as of Monday, May 20th, text donations will be used for the response to the Oklahoma storms), mail donations to the local American Red Cross Rogers/Mayes/Wagoner County Service Center at 400 W. Will Rogers Blvd., Claremore, OK 74017 or bring it by the service center office. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Office phone number is (918) 343-1803.
 
THURSDAY June 13
Claremore Civic Concert Band to perform at 7:30 p.m. from the G. Waide Sibley Gazebo, corner of Weenonah and Will Rogers Boulevard in Claremore. Concerts are free to the public, who are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for comfort during the performance.

Claremore Duplicate Bridge Club, 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Claremore Community Center, 2301 N. Sioux. Last club winners were: N/S  Wayne Cardwell & Bill Beasley 1st; Sandra Swan & Lois Schramme 2nd; Carlene Webber & Lynn Kay Harder 3rd; Richard Ward & Evelyn Kendall 4th; E/W Ron Howard & L. D. Lewis 1st; Don Fletcher & Ed Van Shick 2nd; Dave Schramme & L. D. Allison 3rd; Mike Curry & Dianne Bostic 4th. The Club played in competition with 119 tables and came in 2nd over all.
