Will Rogers Library Genealogy Volunteers return to answer questions and assist with research each Monday, 3-7 p.m.
Rogers County Historical Society’s monthly meeting, 7 p.m., Belvidere Mansion. Speaker to be Donna McSpadden, who will speak about the book “Spring Will Come: The Life of Clem McSpadden.” Refreshments served. Public is invited.
Friends of the Will Rogers Library meeting, 6 p.m. Guest speaker will be Dr. Tara Claussen, family practice physician with OMNI Medical Group. Open to the public.

Rogers County Foster Care Association meeting, 6:30 p.m., Claremore Assembly of God. Information about becoming a foster parent.

Rogers County Health Department diabetes class, “I’m In Control,” begins Feb. 19 at 12:30 p.m. Classes cover diet, medications, stress, exercise, eye care, foot care, and self-monitoring. Enrollment is required. Call Fran Hrdlicka, (918) 341-3166.

Rogers County Democratic Party meeting, 6:30 p.m., Rogers County  Building. Discussion of precinct officers election in March and the status of county for the upcoming year. Reorganization/election of county officers will occur in March also. 
 
FRIDAY Feb. 1
Inola High School Spanish Club Famous Enchilada Dinner, 5:30-7:30 p.m. during Inola vs. Sequoyah basketball game. Cost is $5. Hispanic dessert buffet.

Rogers County Retired Educators meeting, 10 a.m., Pizza Hut in Claremore. Program presented by Elwin Isaacs about the history of Claremore and Will Rogers. Public welcome.
Claremore Community Chorus spring rehearsals, 7 p.m., St. Cecelia Catholic Church, 1304 N. Dorothy. All voices are needed to prepare for the Spring Concert. Ability to read music is not required. Information: email claremorecommunitychorus1986@yahoo.com.

First United Methodist Church of Claremore Valentine’s Dinner, Newly Wed Game & Auction, 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 each or $25 a couple, and includes free babysitting. Funds raised go to the youth working the event and helps pay for Youth Christian Weekend at Silver Dollar City, summer camp, etc. Tickets on sale Sundays or in church office.
