SUNDAY April 8
Claremore Area Ministerial Alliance sponsors annual Easter Sunrise Service, 7-7:30 a.m., at the Will Rogers Memorial. Many churches in Claremore will be taking part. Keynote speaker will be Mark Hiehle, new pastor of Claremore Church of the Nazarene. 
 
MONDAY April 9
Will Rogers Library Genealogy Volunteers are available each Monday from 3-7 p.m. to answer questions and assist with research.
Claremore author Cynda Thomas will tell about her journey to being an author for the Will Rogers Library Friends of the Library Brown Bag Lunch, 12-1 p.m. Open to the public; participants may bring a lunch of they wish. Drinks and desserts will be provided. Thomas moved to Claremore after living in other places with her test pilot husband. She has written two books set around aviation, one after discovering her husband’s journals.
Heritage Hills Womens Golf Association played a scramble on April 4. The winning group was Kim Grubb, Sue Ping, Eva Sue Watson and Beth Pulley with a 65. Kim Grubb had a birdie on number 15. Next play will be on April 11; the game will be Mutt and Jeff.
 
TUESDAY April 10
Claremore Caregiver Support Group, 12-1 p.m., at Rogers County Adult Day Care. Speaker will be Cheri Donaldson from the Oklahoma’s Veterans Administration. Free lunch and adult daycare provided. Reservations needed: (918) 341-7588.
