Foyil United Methodist Church monthly community dinner, beginning at 11 a.m. Menu includes the choice of fried chicken or meat loaf and side items for $7.

Claremore Public Schools Title 7 Native American parent meeting, 4 p.m., Claremore High School room 101. All parents or guardians of Claremore Public School Native American students are invited to attend.



THURSDAY Feb. 9

Three Rivers Artists meeting, 6:30 p.m., Rogers County Building, 416 S. Brady. Ross Myers will discuss drawing, composition, mixing colors and basics of art. Free and open to the public.

AARP Chapter 3521 meeting, 11:15 a.m., American Legion Post 141. Guest speaker John Haase, horticulturist and OSU Extension Educator, will discuss gardening ideas. Will Rogers Library Genealogy Volunteers are available each Monday from 3-7 p.m. to answer questions and assist with research.

Rogers County Health Department diabetes class, “I’m in Control,” begins Feb. 14 at 12:30 p.m. Sessions continue the 15th, 16th, 21st and 22nd, from 1-3 p.m. Topics include diet, exercise, stress, foot care, medication, SBGM, and eye care. THURSDAY Feb. 16

Claremore Public School Administrators and counselors will have a special meeting Feb. 16 for parents and studetns beginning with Seniors at 5p.m. Juniors will meet at 5:30p.m., Sophomores at 6p.m., Freshman at 6:30 p.m. and will conclude with 8th grade at 7p.m. at Claremore High School. It will be held during parent teacher conferences. Important information regarding classes and enrollment for the coming school year will be given for each grade level.
