Claremore Friends of the Library host Tulsa World cartoonist Bruce Plante, 6 p.m., Will Rogers Memorial Museum. Public is welcome. Two tickets to The Event (a WR Memorial Foundation fund-raising gala) will be given to one attendee. 
Master Gardeners Association of Rogers County presents “Butterflies of Oklahoma with Some Gardening Tips,” 7 p.m., Rogers County Building, 416 S. Brady. Open and free to the public. Information: Rogers County Extension office at (918) 923-4958.
Will Rogers Library Genealogy Volunteers are available each Monday from 3-7 p.m. to answer questions and assist with research.
 
TUESDAY Sept. 17
Business Builders Referral Group meeting, 11:45 a.m. BBRG was formed to encourage cooperative business methods in the Rogers County area and to help promote each other’s business by building a better understanding and closer business relationship among the members.
