Published May 16, 2008 08:56 am - Phoenix Coal Company, Inc Public Notice PUBLISHED IN THE CLAREMORE DAILY PROGRESS, CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA, MAY 16, 23, 30 & JUNE 6, 2008. Notice is hereby given that Phoenix Coal Company, Inc., P.O. Box 498, Vinita, OK 74301, is making application to the Oklahoma Department of Mines for final Phase III bond release on permit #4265 and increment 2. Permit #4265 increment 2 includes 98.9 acres located in the SE/4 SE/4 of Section 24, the NE/4 NE/4 of Section 25, all in T24N, R16E, and the W/2 SW/4 SW/4 of Section 19, T24N, R17E Rogers County, Oklahoma. The permit area is located in the Winganon area of northern Rogers County, east of Oologah Lake, and can be located on the Winganon USG 7.5-minute quadrangle map. The area has been graded, backfilled, topsoil replaced, vegetation established, and maintained as required by the regulations and permit conditions. The area has been successfully reclaimed to the post-mining land uses of pastureland, developed water resource and industrial/commercial (road), and meet all applicable reclamation standards. The current bond amount for permit #4265 increment 2 is $16,400. Phoenix is requesting release of all bonds. Written comments, objections, and requests for a public hearing or informal conference for any of these bond release applications must be received at the Department of Mines, 2915 N. Classen, Suite 213, Oklahoma City, OK 73106, prior to 30 days after final publication of this notice.
