NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY
Grand Gateway Area Agency on Aging will begin disseminating Requests for Proposal to provide services to persons age sixty and over in the counties of Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers and Washington for Fiscal Year 2014 - 2015 (July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015) on April 22, 2013.
The following services will be funded for Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers and Washington counties:
- Nutrition, i.e. Congregate Meals, Home Delivered Meals and Nutrition Education
- Legal Assistance and Education
- Homemaker Service
- Chore Service
Request for Proposals may be obtained at 333 S. Oak Street, Big Cabin, Oklahoma 74332-0502 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (Monday thru Thursday) or you may request a mailed copy of the Request for Proposal by calling 1-800-482-4594. Grand Gateway AAA must receive sealed proposals for funding no later than 4:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2013. Late proposals will not be considered for funding.
Attendance at a mandatory Proposers Conference is required to secure funding. The Proposers Conference will be held May 2, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. located at Tri County Technology Center (Osage Annex) 6106 S.E. Nowata Road, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74006.
Proposals will be accepted for multiple/single service projects serving the seven county area or combinations of counties. All proposals are subjected to specific grant requirements of the Older Americans Act.
