Water System Improvements

Claremore Village 12” Water Line Extension and 

Verdigris River Water Line Crossing Replacement

Rural Water District No. 5, Rogers County

RURAL WATER DISTRICT NO. 5, ROGERS COUNTY 

CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA

Sealed proposals will be received by the Rural Water District No. 5, Rogers County, Claremore, Oklahoma, at 25254 South 4100 Road, Claremore, OK 74019 until 2:00 p.m. August 5, 2013 for a water line Extension in Claremore, Oklahoma at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.  Any bids received after the scheduled time for closing will be returned unopened.

The work includes the following:

Construction of 1402 LF of 12” Water Line, 380 LF of 20” Bore and Steel Casing, 620 LF of 6” Bore and Polyethylene Pipe and all appurtenances. 

Copies of the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents are on file with the Rural Water District No. 5, Rogers County at 25254 South 4100 Road, Claremore, OK 74019 (918-266-4634) and at the office of the Engineers, Holloway, Updike and Bellen, Inc., 818 Eastside Blvd., Muskogee, Oklahoma 74403, (918-682-7811) and are open for public inspection.  A set of said documents may be obtained from the Engineers upon payment of Seventy Dollars and 00/100 ($70.00) Dollars.  This payment is for the cost of reproduction and will not be refunded.  

The proposals filed with the Rural Water District No. 5, Rogers County shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or Cashier's Check for Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable to the Rural Water District No. 5, Rogers County.

The following bonds will be required from the Contractor:

Performance Bond in the Full Amount of the Contract Price

Statutory Public Works Bond for payment of all labor and materials used in the construction of such improvements in the Full Amount of the Contract Price

One Year Maintenance Bond in the Full Amount of the Contract Price

The bidder (Proposer) must supply all the information required by the bid or proposal form including completion of the Bidders Certifications and affidavits or his bid will be considered incomplete and therefore rejected.

No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least Sixty (60) days.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.

The attention of all bidders is called to the fact that they must meet the requirements and bid in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma and the Rural Water District No. 5, Rogers County ordinances governing public works contracts.
