PUBLISHED IN THE CLAREMORE DAILY PROGRESS, CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA, MARCH 16, 19 & 30, 2014.

RESOLUTION

At the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Northwest Rogers County Fire Protection District held February 11, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in the Station One building in Oologah, Oklahoma a resolution was adopted to hold an election for board member position #2 on the governing Board of Northwest Rogers County Fire Protection District.

Position 32 will take office January 2015 and serve until January 2020

Directors shall be the surface owners of real property in and residents of the District.

The election will be held the 4th day of November 2014.

Filing period will be April 09, 10 & 11, 2014.

All polling places within the boundaries of the Northwest Rogers County Fire Protection District will be open for voting on the Board member positions at seven o’clock a.m. and remain open continuously and be closed at seven o’clock p.m.

For clarification, as per Op. Attn. Gen. No. 76-185 (May 14, 1976) “ The persons qualified to vote in an election for the proposition of the organization of a fire protection district pursuant to 901.1 et seq. of this title, are those who are residents of such proposed district and who are qualified electors in their respective precincts.”

It is presumed that these qualifications also apply to eligible voters for the Board of Directors elections. 901.5D. “All polling places of precincts, all or any part of which includes areas within the boundaries of the District, shall be supplied ballots for the purpose of permitting electors of the District to vote for members of the Board of Directors of the District…..”

The following areas are NOT a part of the District:

1. The Town of Talala

2. Heritage Hills Addition, located in the NE1/4 of Section 12, Township 21 North, Range 15 East.

3. Westwood Manor Addition, located in the W/2 of Section 6, Township 21 North, Range 16 East.

4. The SE1/4 of the SE1/4 and the S1/2 of the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 and the S1/2 of the S1/2 of the N1/2 of the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 6, Township 21 North, Range 16 East.

5. The E1/2 of SE1/4 of Section 12, Township 21 North, Range 15 East of the I.B.&M.,
