Petition to Annex Adjacent Territory

James E. Moore and Danelle Moore, Husband and wife, hereby petition and request the city Council of the Claremore, Rogers County, Oklahoma, a municipal corporation, to annex and make a part of the said City, the real estate and property described as follows, to-wit:

A PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER (NW/4 NW/4) OF SECTION FIFTEEN (15), TOWNSHIP TWENTY-ONE (21) NORTH, RANGE SIXTEEN (16) EAST OF THE INDIAN BASE MERIDIAN, ROGERS COUNTY, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, ACCORDING TO THE U.S. GOVERNMENT SURVEY THEREOF, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:

COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE NW/4 OF SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 16 EAST OF THE INDIAN BASE AND MERIDIAN, ROGERS COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, ACCORDING TO THE U.S. GOVERNMENT SURVEY THEREOF; THENCE SOUTH 01˚31’12” EAST ALONG THE WESTERLY LINE OF THE NW/4 SECTION 15 FOR A DISTANCE OF 75.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

THENCE NORTH 89˚07’30” EAST A DISTANCE OF 25.00 FEET; THENCE NORTH 01˚31’12” WEST A DISTANCE OF 10,00 FEET; THENCE NORTH 89˚07’30” EAST A DISTANCE OF 313.50 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 60˚05’34” EAST A DISTANCE OF 92.02 FEET;

THENCE SOUTH 01˚31’12” EAST A DISTANCE OF 129.42 FEET; THENCE SOUTH  89˚07’30” WEST A DISTANCE OF 417.03 FEET TO A POINT ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID NW/4;

THENCE NORTH 01˚31’12” WEST ALONG SAID WEST LINE A DISTANCE OF 166.51 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

Petitioners state that they are registered voters and the owners of over three-fourths (in value) of the property, and that said property or territory is adjacent and contiguous to the municipality of the City of Claremore.
