BH SUBSTATION CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT

NOTICE AND INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS

 

 

  1. Sealed proposals for the construction, including the supply of necessary labor, materials and equipment, of an electric project of Claremore Public Works Electric Department  (hereinafter called the “Owner”) will be received by the Owner on or before 2:00 o’clock P M., February 5th, 2013 at City Hall at 104 S. Muskogee, Claremore, Oklahoma 74017   at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read.  Any proposal received subsequent to the time specified will be promptly returned to the Bidder unopened.

3. Obtaining Documents.  The Plans, Specifications and Construction Drawings together with all necessary forms and other documents for bidders may be obtained from the Engineer Finley Engineering Company Inc.  at their office at 104 E 11th St., P.O. Box 148, Lamar, MO 64759   . Payment of  $100.00 is to be submitted to the City of Claremore at  104 S. Muskogee, Claremore, Oklahoma 74017   prior to obtaining plans.  This payment will not be subject to refund.  The Plans, Specifications and Construction Drawings may be examined at the office of the Owner or at the office of the Engineer.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Claremore will receive SEALED BIDS # 2013-01 for the BH SUBSTATION CONTRUCTION CONTRACT at the office of the Central Purchasing until 2:00 pm, FEBRUARY 5TH, 2013, to be publicly opened and read aloud at the City Hall Council Chambers. All bids must include assurances that the special terms and conditions, contained in these bid documents, will be complied with.

Bids filed with Central Purchasing shall be publicly opened at the time stated above and considered by the Mayor and Council in the following regular Council meeting. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bidders shall be required to attend a MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE to be held at 10:30 am on JANUARY 22ND, 2013 at the City Hall Council Chambers, 104 South Muskogee, Claremore, Oklahoma. NO BID SHALL BE ACCEPTED FROM BIDDERS NOT PRESENT OR REPRESENTED AT THIS CONFERENCE.
