This is an open letter to the City of Claremore. My name is Justis Spears and I am 11 years old. I have been waiting on you to build the skate park you promised. You have the money to build the park and I would like to know when you are going to make up your mind on a place to build it. You should build it in a place that is centrally located within the city so all kids can have access to it. It should be free. Some kids just don’t have the money to do that. This is a way to help give us something to do. PLEASE build the park soon, I am tried of waiting. Justis Spears, Claremore Thanks for helping Editor, Once again local government officials including our Police Chief Mickey Perry, members of our Fire Department and several members of our city and county offices stepped up to help with the Claremore Elks Lodge Senior Citizens free Thanksgiving meal. They assisted members of the Elks Lodge in preparing and serving over 700 meals to the local residents in attendance and also for the area Meals-on-Wheels recipients. We are grateful for everyone’s assistance and participation in helping to once again make this a success. You truly exemplify the spirit of giving within our community.
