Claremore car club to host annual toy run CLAREMORE DAILY PROGRESS October 24, 2008 — The Route 66 Cruisers Car Club of Claremore will host their third annual toy run on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Club members will gather at the Pizza Time Buffet on North Lynn Riggs in Claremore the morning of Nov. 1, departing promptly at 9 a.m. to make their toy run, collecting toys throughout the day to benefit children being treated at Shriner’s Hospitals. Route 66 Cruisers are scheduled to arrive at Daylight Doughnuts in Chelsea at 9:30 a.m. and stay for an hour, before continuing to Vinita, Cowboy Junction, Pryor, and returning to Claremore at 4 p.m. at the Will Rogers Downs Cherokee Casino on Highway 20 for an “End-of-the-Run” reception. In case of inclement weather, the run will be rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8. For more information, call 341-5198.
