CLARIFICATON: Story verified following tip, Henry sought as expert on records

CLAREMORE — The Claremore Daily Progress published the story “Juvenile records found unsecured in old courthouse” in the Sunday, Aug. 4 edition.

A tip was received by the Claremore Daily Progress regarding the records on July 31.

The Progress verified the tip and contacted Rogers County Court Clerk Kim Henry for comment on the matter.

Henry was contacted because of her expertise on court records, specifically the confidential nature of juvenile records and her official capacity as clerk of court records.

Henry did not initiate the report to the Claremore Daily Progress.
