2 calves stolen near Chelsea

CLAREMORE — Two calves were reported stolen from a pasture between 3 and 6:30 p.m. Thursday on South 4240 Road near Chelsea.

Owner Sarah Swisher said the thief or thieves stole the cattle after physically removing the pasture gate from the hinges.
She said one of the calves is a registered Simmental bred heifer owned by her son,  James, and the other is an Angus cross owned by her 12-year-old daughter Kylah.
The family is offering a reward for the calves.
Anyone with information can call the Rogers County Sheriff’s Department tipline at 918-342-9700.
