CLAREMORE — Ralph Bethea is a 94-year-old World War II veteran who has lived in Claremore for more than 30 years. He was a captain in the war and was in charge of an 18 member surgical team. He lead them on D Day they could do any surgery anywhere. Bethea remembers working at a German hospital that had been captured by the United States, and he even helped a team of German engineers so they would fix the hospital.
