CLAREMORE — After a rancher southwest of Chelsea realized he was missing round bales of hay, he decided to put out a motion activated game camera in an attempt to catch whoever was responsible.

Sure enough, the thief was caught on video clearly stealing seven round bales, each valued at $75, according to information from the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO).
The images show the suspect in a white, late 1970s Ford truck with a hay spike on the back of it and a headache rack covering the cab.
Investigators are currently working to identify the thief. Ranchers are asked to be on the look out for the truck or any other suspicious vehicles. Once caught, the thief should face several charges including criminal trespassing and theft.
Anyone with information can call the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office tipline at (918) 341-3620.
